Doris Miller Magnet

The image on this magnet is taken from a war poster designed in 1943 by David Stone Martin for the Office of War Information. The poster depicts Mess Attendant Second Class Doris "Dorie" Miller, USS West Virginia, who was awarded the Navy Cross for his heroism during the December 7, 1941 attack on Pearl Harbor.
